IS IFA A RELIGION?

Ifa is not just a religion but a spiritual consciousness that raise the level of awareness to different dimension known in existence.

Ifa teaches us that the spiritual existence is the real state that determines all other existence  and connect both the  physical with spiritual and link the two to the divine state of life,  Manifestating in the inner being or world of men before the universe pick up the vibration. All  to the  glory of Olodumare as the omnipotent force in the cosmos and  the recognition of divinities as the true messengers and agents  responsible for all mysterious powers  and forces  in nature. Ifa responds and give meaning  to all mysteries of life through Odu, that is the word of God and teach us a way to react when under physical,  emotional, spiritual and Mental attack or provocation.

Difference between OBARA and OGUNDABEDE

Osa Meji is the spirit and the foundation of Iyaami Osoronga Apani Ma Gun , Olokiki Run that is, our lady of nightly rite. It is the spirit that is associated with fear, lack of courage and inability to performance ones responsibility in the face of competition and or lack of total interest to perform one function due to the attack of evil energy or idleness coming form within or from negative energies from one environment or environment  afar. It is the power that govern the beginning of witch and witchy, wizard and wizardry, it is the power that govern evil thought and evil mind, if not curbed by spiritual steps can lead to self destruction or destruction of family which may have a devastating effect on one generation or the society one lives in general.

But when  it is the negative form. Osa meji speaks of fear and fraught with evil intentions . If it appears in the negative way, it is associated with witch and wizard, and negative intention. But in positive way, it means positive change of life, work, and relationship supported by prayer and discipline the energy of Osa Meji can propel us to greater height and success  that will have positive influence on our generation.

OBARA meji is  people of double personality, lack of confidence and uncertain situation  and in most cases, behavior contrary to our  real habit or natural way of life, it is associated with people dual personalities and artistry life. While Ogunda Bede is people with evil intention of robbery, infidelity, dishonest, stealing, immoral behaviour. Ogundabede is associated with promiscuity and laziness. But when Ogundaogbe or Ogundabede is in positive state, it speaks of power of Ogun to restore order, discipline and success in our life and the lives of our generation.

That is the difference of the three energy:

PRAYER FOR ORI

May the Creator of Destiny always be by  my side to direct my steps and guide my destiny.

May the light of the day and darkness of the night always work for my favor to fulfill my life destiny.

Just as life currents work in the favor of those who know the path of light and wisdom.

May all the energy of the universe work in my favor and support my desire

may the Lord of destiny strengthen me and bless me as long as there is an appearance of the sun.

May my legs  take me  to where my destiny will be  fulfilled and attained its fullness.

May all divinities continue to bless me and guide my  life  now and in the life to come.

May all loved ones attract the blessing from most high God, and may I witness divine protection and blessing till the end of the year and the beginning of the next year, and attract abundance till the end of my life.

ASE

This must be repeated 24 times  in a day.

God bless you all,

OBARA MEJI

Aboru aboye.

Obara Meji speaks of double personality, uncertainty and indecision in life. It speaks  of people with multiple personalities  and or dual character traits. While Ogundaogbe or Ogundabede speaks of traitor, infidelity, dishonest, unfaithfulness, lies or robbery, stealing, kleptomaniac attitude .

while odu Obara Meji speaks of two or dual personality traits which may not involves any act of subordination or dishonesty, unfaithfulness or stealing, or any other tricks behaviour, Ogundabede speaks of pure immoral act that include  infidelity and dishonesty, stealing by tricks or stealing by force.

Obara meji, may be suffering from personality disorder, that is, aggressive with family but good with strangers. He may be outspoken at home but discreet when seeing others for the first time or  when meeting a new guy or paranoid when meeting new people. While the people of Ogundabede are people with evil intention, moral bankcruptcy  and with perpetual or tendencies to be false in his dealing with others. Ogundabede are crooks to the core. But when taking the energy of Ogundabede (Ogundaogbe) in a positive way, it  is the energy of Ogunda that attract wealth, wisdom, positive vibration and happiness. It is the power of Ogun to manifest success in our lives and the energy ion Olodumare to bless us beyond our widest imagination.

The spirit of sexual immoralities and dishonesty is the power behind Ogundabede. The spirit of self dissatisfaction and worthlessness  are the spirit of Ogundabede .

ON OGUN

Orin (song)

Ogun ma ma je nbimo ole

Ogun ma ma je n bimo ole

Kii jeniyan o ni laari

Ogun ma ma je nbimo ole

translation of the song

Ogun, do not let me have a thief as child

Ogun, I beg you don’t let me have thief as child

it does not allow one to be significant in life

Ogun do not let me have a thief as child

This means Ogun do not support and entertain evil steps or evil endeavour. Hence people of  OGUN  must be upright, plain, honest, diligent, supportive and encourage people to be the best of themselves.

Ogun is one of the greatest divinity  whose power is incomparable  with none of the other divinities that graced the surface of the earth. Based on his fantastic strength, power, energy and  force, he was chosen by OLODUMARE to come to the Earth plain by leading other divinities with his superior power wielded with divine cutlass which till today has not been properly explained, as there is great riddle and mystery beneath the physical explanation of Ogun ALADA MEJI, O FI KAN SANKO, O FIKAN  YENA, THAT IS, OGUN THE OWNER OF TWO CUTLASS, ONE IS USED TO CLEAR THE PATH AND ONE TO CLEAR THE BUSH.

Ogun was the one who cleared the way for  other divinities  on leaving ORUN (the city of  Heaven) journeying to AYE AKAMARA (the Earth plain). The fundamental  Ogun that came from Heaven with the other divinities is known as  ”OGUN EREJA ”, because of his itinerant or gypsy or nomadic warfare. He was better known as  OGUN – OGUN  THAT IS THE WARLORD  OGUN, WHICH MEANS OGUN IS A WAR LORD.

IN FACT OGUN’S NAME IS ASSOCIATED WITH THE FOLLOWING NOUNS:

OGUN– WAR

OGUN – INHERITANCE

OGUN – MEDICINE OR MEDICINAL PURPOSE

OGUN — TWENTY

OGUN – CLIMBING OR GOING UP

OGUN — WITHOUT LIMIT

OGUN — RIVER, THE WATER OF LIFE

OGUN — A STATE OF BEING, AN ENTRANCE TO LARGER LIFE, A GATE TO A BETTER CONDITION

OGUN –THE NAME BEHIND THE WARLIKE STATE OR JUNGLE

Virtually, all families of the world must choose Ogun as their guiding divinity,  because of one fact, life is a state of war. War and battle for survival starts from the belly or womb of the mother known as IGBALE OR GBALE (the house or womb of secret), indeed the weak soul is consumed from the womb, and the stronger and the fortunate or virile survive the battle OF THE WOMB.  The unfortunate ones are consumed right away from the womb without pity, hence on getting to the physical state, the battle for survival continue,  ranging from the emotional disequilibrium, to famine, poverty, diseases, losses, court case, death, weakness, idleness, lack, indiscipline and other negative vibrations known in IFA parlance as ‘AJOGUN ORUN’ (the punitive knights of heavenly doom) which by nature are called the spiritual warfare that are bound to make or mar your being  or consume you if proper steps are not put in place. Life is compared to a typical jungle where bigger or smaller animals are consumed on daily basis based on their level of wisdom or fighting spirit. Do you not know that antelope or Gnus are constantly prone to an attack from ferocious and great felines of the jungle. Nothing differentiates the animal jungle from the jungle of man where the weak and the ignorants are consumed daily either by the cool hand of death, diseases and other life forces beyond human control. The spirit of Ogun serves as a supporting aid to deter evil forces of life from consuming our destiny or destroying the divine plan of Olodumare for our life.

There’s a great song that reinforce the above analysis

Ogun na ni o wole deni

ogun naa ni o wole deni

eni ra ni lajo , ni wole deni

ogun na ni o wole deni

translation

Ogun will take care of me

Ogun will take control of the situation

Whoever send one an errand will take care of our household

Ogun will take care of our lives

The above song is more than  an ordinary song, it is more mystical and divine than ordinary in its interpretation. No life exist or survive without a proper support from ethereal, life is a spirit and spirit is life, without spirit, life is useless and meaningless, hence, support your life with sound spiritual steps and be strong to know. That life is a jungle and the weak and the idle in the jungle would be consumed without pity just like there is no ignorance in law, likewise no pity and ignorance in spiritual law of life. The first step to win in the jungle of life is to avoid ignorance, complaining , condemning, criticising and being idle. So many powers that are negative are watching you to prey on your steps and life, be prepared  and armed yourself with sound spiritual wisdom,  support yourself  with sound mental control and physical  discipline to become part of divine  creature in creation that must  strive from generation to generation. Remember that heaven helps those who help themselves, for the host of heaven  to help you, you need the support of Ogun as part of the divine plan to see you through the jungle of life.

God bless you,

Olayinka Babatunde Ogunsina Adewuyi

Sango IV

This text is a continuing of the post from July 29 | Sango III.

Remember that the first Sango was the one that left the city of HEAVEN-  ORUN AJANTE  or AJULE ORUN (that is Yoruba name for heaven),  with other great divinities, called IRUNMOLE.  These great divinities include  Obatala Oseremanigbo, Ifa Orunmila Bara me Agboniregun (HEEPA BABA IMOLE ), Ogun Alakaye Osin Imale (OGUN EREJA), ESU LALU (ESU LAROYE, ESU ODARA,  ONILE ORITA OKUNRIN JOGOLO) AND SANGO AKOKO ( THE FIRST SANGO ) .

After the exit of these great Irunmole or Divinities, and most especially Sango in question,  ascended to heaven through mysterious means, there had been many of  the reincarnation of Sango (the first true Sango ). One of these reincarnation was called TELLA, in the city of Oyo (note, in the olden days, the city of Oyo was called Eyeo or Katunga ). Tella because of his similarity and aggressiveness and fear factor, he was named after the first Sango, IRUNMOLE ATELEJA (divinity with metaphysical forces). Till now, Tella  was taken and still mistaken  by many for the original Sango  who came directly from heaven  and His parental lineage is Olodumare, and that is the reason, the first Sango was called DIVINITY  from the realm of divine (any being from the realm of divine is called IRUNMOLE ). Tella had earthly Mother and father, His mother came from the land of Nupe, and his father was one of the sons of Oduduwa, hence the later Sango whose original name was Tella is Orisa (a brave man turn to saint, that is, he became a saint after his demise).  In Saint in Yoruba Pantheon is called ORISA.

Indeed, Sango  and Tella had been taken to be one or the same,  because of physical, emotional and spiritual similarities and attitude related to fear, intimidation and aggression. This is a faulty observation as the time that elapsed between divinity  and Deity (the heavenly created and earthily glorification). Indeed, Tella’s family is known as Against Sango Irunmole  whose parent can be traced to Olodumare as the original mensenger of Infinite merciful Creator. Tella who is later known as Sango Oba Koso, had his mother in the person of OMOTOYOSI, and His father  in the person of Oranmiyan It was tella who was a king in the city of OYO or Eyeo ort Katunga who attempted hanging himself and his follower including his cohort advised him against his selfish attitude hence he was name

ARAMBABI  EKUN OKO OYA (NOTICE- OKANRAN  MEJI STATES, A KI LEGBE LAYE, KI A MAA  MAA  NI TORUN, MEANINGS, WE HAVE ASSOCIATION  HERE AND HERE AFTER, THAT IS EARTHILY  MATES.  OR ASSOCIATION AND THE HEAVENLY MATES OR  ASSOCIATION  ARE CONNECTED AND PRESENT IN OUR LIVES), NOTE THE ASSOCIATION OF AYE AKAMARA  IS HEAVENLY BOUND. WE ARE CONNECTED TOGETHER  NOT BY HUMAN WISDOM BUT BY DIVINE MEANS, IT IS GREAT PROMISED THAT WE SHALL ALL LIVE TO SEE THE BLESSINGS  OF OLODUMARE IN OUR LIVES  ALWAYS. REMEMBER THAT WHATEVER YOU DO TO ONE MEMBER HERE  ON EARTH, WILL BE RE-MEMBERED  IN THE HEAVEN, THAT IS, THE HEAVENLY MATES WILL PICK UP THE VIBRATION TO BLESS OR CAUSE YOUR CLONE IN HEAVEN. TO REMEMBER YOUR GOOD ATTITUDE  IN HEAVEN, YOUR ACTION HERE AND YOUR ATTITUDE MUST BE DIVINE AND GOOD. ALWAYS LOOK FOR WAY TO ADD VALUE TO OTHER PEOPLE’S  LIVES, MOST ESPECIALLY  YOUR EARTHILY MATES OR THOSE ON THE LIST OF OUR PRAYER REQUEST .

SANGO, ARAMBABI, TELLA OKO OYA ORIRI – THE STORY

About a two and half  centuries  ago  OR MORE, there reigned in the old town of oyo know as OYO ILE  or KATUNGA,  a king called Shango  Oba Koso, who was very powerful  and wise monarch. He was a great medicine man or witch-doctor  and claimed to be able to kill people by ejecting  fire from his mouth. His reign was tyrannical and cruel, brute and violent . He had two emissaries in the person of GBONKA and TIMI.

GBONKA  complete name was GBONKA EBIRI  OMO AJIBOGUN SORO, KUGUKUGU BOJU  RORO POMOJE MEANS A GREAT GBONKA WITH POWERFUL CHARM AND  MYSTERIOUS EYES THAT KILL WITHOUT MERCY )  WHILE TIMI FULL NAME, WAS ”TIMI AGBALE OLOFA INA, OKUNRIN BI OKUTA, JAGUNJAGUN ( TIMI, THE BRAVE MAN WITH  GREAT  ARC FLETCHER  OR ARROW, MAN LIKE STONE, THE GREAT WARRIOR )

The two powerful men was under the control of SANGO ARAMBABI OLUKOSO AJALA IJI, but he ( SANGO ) knew that his end was imminent because of these  two great warriors, he decided to eliminate the two by setting them up against one another. He failed to realize that ”OKo ta ba so mope, lope ma saa so maani, eni derun lerun ma to, elulu to fa ojo, ori ara re lo fa le, ohun ti a ba gbin la ma ka”, translated, to mean, whatever you plant you reap, it is  written at the portal (door)  of heaven, which is unchangeable law of divine realm). Hence every man must desist from evil, evil spread like ashes, likewise  goodness spread like fire under the sun,  always seek good, do good and establish good where your leg and your destiny take you to. The witch and the wizard are within, the mercy and goodness are within, you only fuel the one you like best and like most , like a small seed that transform into big tree or large shrub, your past attitude, action and habit are picked by the outside vibration and ether, and they were sent back to you in double or triple, hence, you accuse the world and the people living in the world as being cruel, brute and nasty. Examine yourself, most evils are  the products of  your ignorance, selfishness, greed, and non- chalantan attitude, whenever you want to set one man against another, remember the story of TELLA. Be careful of what  you are doing and do it well.

Sango was jealous and set these two great men under him to fight against each other, hoping that both would die. Gbonka conquered Timi, and later Gbonka deposed  king Sango. Sango fled in total shame. He was accompanied by his three wives; OYA , OSUN, AND OBA  and some of his loyal followers or devotees. He  became wanderer in the forest or bush, being gradually deserted by all, until only his favourite wife OYA  remained with him. Then, in despair, Sango hung himself  on  an old tree called AYAN (AYAN TREE ). OYA  fled north and became the presiding  goddess of the river called ODO OYA or RIVER NIGER .

People who had seen the body of Sango hanging  from a tree entered the town  and reported  OBA SO  that the king hanged. The friends  of Sango were so incensed that they determined to avenge their deceased monarch

God bless you all,

Sango III

This text is a continuing of the post from July 27 | Sango II.

Sango is the god of Lightning, thunder and storms, He is known as Jakuta because of the attitude of throwing stone or fight with stone when he was  not invited to choose a holy  day for Himself and for his disciples.

Sango is  a special kind of divinity that loves to tell the truth. Liars cannot be around or within his presence. Sango metes out justice with precision  as IFA makes us to understand  that Sango can see anything kept anywhere and can fetch  it within seconds no matter the weight of the article.

narrates how  Sango’s power was sought to arrest  the person  who kidnapped the wife of orisa  (Deity ). In a brightening  light from the sky, he saw where the woman was located and person who took her there; Sango brought the two  of them  out for the punishment  that is adequate. Sango not only punish his captives with death, when the offense committed demands death, he makes sure that they do not receive sympathy. In many instances, he would dissect the corpse of the victim as if the keenest hacksaw blade  went through the body but he still keep him in the whole body, the corpse is always black as if it was burnt  according to ifa verse:

SANGO  OOO

OLAGIRI KAKAKA

FI IGBA EDUN BO

EFIN INA LA DA LAYE

INA NBE LODO OKO MI LORUN ,

THAT DESTROY OR BREAK THE WALL INTO MANY PARTS

HIDE TWO HUNDRED  THUNDERBOLT INSIDE THE FALLING WALL

Sango hates impostor  and He always brings down those with high  look. Never look down on anyone, be meek, gentle and radiate your environment with divine love, wisdom and truth.

Many theory or assumption, have been made in respect to the name of  Sango, some even trace his origin to Egypt that is, Sango name was traced to ancient Egypt (God in Egypt) bearing the name of Sango, or a name from which  the word is  derived. The name ”SANGU ” occurs in the religion history of Chaldea  and denote, ONE WHO IS BOUND TO A GOD or  ”the representative or vice -gerent of a god” . The view maintained by some observers has been expressed  in an earlier  books of wisdom that the OMO ODUA or what the modern  people called Yoruba  seem to have had some contact with Chaldeans. The similarity between the Yoruba  words  ”Sango”  and the Chaldean word ”Sangu”  seems to support the view and to suggest the need for research base on the data now available.

The other name of the deity – Jakuta – unmistakable points  to an Egyptian origin. The word JA- KU- TA , means ” THE LIVING SOUL  (KHU) OF PTAH ” . THE EGYPTIAN GOD PTAH WAS REGARDED AS INCORPORATE  IN A STONE .

THE YORUBA WORD FOR A STONE  IS OKUTA ,  THE SOUL OF PTAH , HENCE , THE LITERAL  MEANING  OF JAKUTA IN YORUBA IS THE FIGHTER WITH STONE.

Another  noteworthy Yoruba  word is  ”A-pa-ta” that is , a rock .  It consists of two Egyptian  words namely ,Pa , -”a house”  and  Ta , a modified form of ”PTAH

another words is related to Sango, the word is  MOGBA, the word is restricted  to the domain  of Oyo  in the olden days, Mogba is one the highest office  within  the pantheon of Sango, as god of thunder , fire, sound  and storms . Mogba or Magba  is from the two word  i”OMA(N) or OMO(N)   AND ”A-GBA” , that is  ”people of the ba”  Agba  or elderly persons being regarded  as possessing in a. special  way the spirit or soul  of the ancestors.

Sango was once described  as –”THE RAM HEADED  GOD OF THUNDER”, as one of the chief  Yoruba deity, he is highly revered and respected among Yoruba at home and in diaspora.

Sango II

This text is a continuing of the post from July 25 | Sango.

The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, this fear give rise to the spiritual and divine invocation and communications to a divinity called SANGO, one of the primary and most complex emotions known in the jungle of life is the emotion of fear. In regard to Olodumare, this emotion has lost its energy because of the fear you have in the being called Olodumare. In regard to Sango it’s energy reaches its climax and raises the emotion to the level of complete terror and dread. No deity is more dreadful in the religion of  Omo Odua for its malevolence as Sango, the god of thunder, lightening and fire. The first name given to Sango is known as Jakuta, that is “the stone thrower”, or “the fighter with stone” . How did  he  use the name Jakuta, according to the myth in Ejiogbe.

The five great divinities  gathered together to choose a day for their devotee to adore and to  sing the song of praise to Olodumare through them. Indeed, Obatala  chose the  first day, know as ojo Taala tabi ojo obatala, orunmila chose the second day name ojo Ifa, Ogun chose the third day named as Ojo alakaiye osin imole, Esu was not asked to choose any date because of his mischevious  and cunning manner, out of annoyance Esu went on to inform  Sango about the secret plan of the three divinities. Sango rushed to the meeting and threw stone at them to show his anger against the three divinities. The three implored him to stop throwing stone and they explained and begged him for the occurrence. Indeed, Sango accepted their plea and the fourth day was given to him as the day of Jakuta  Based on the action of through throwing  stone at them during the chosen of holly days for each great  ORISAS.

Indeed, within ORISA.  We have only four days. That make a week days.  Ojo obatala.  Ojo Ifa.  Ojo Ogun and Ojo Jakuta.

However, Each of these days must used to pray or to offer sacrifice to each of the  great divinities to attract to their vibration, support and guidance.

Indeed, Sango name is synonymous with anger, hate and worry.  Hence those who worry much and whose anger is constant and hate and fear are great, those who cannot have last long  solid relationship with friend, family and parents Should employ and adopt Sango as his guiding ORISA or  Irunmole that is ruling  his or her  destiny.

Sango symbolizes total domination, victory  and  power to overcome terror   Fear and dread.

We shall continue next time.

Sango

Sango as the name implies is a divine name peculiar to heavenly host that transmit enormous energy and vibration to the initiates and the people that adore him in the physical world. Sango is one of the five greatest divinities that left the  heaven above  (ISALU ORUN) to the world of matter known  as (Aye Akamara), on the instruction of Olodumare so that  undeveloped souls and spirits can have a prepared ground to grow to meet the heavenly responsibilities and duties. The physical world  according to Odu, one of the vibrating energy that create all things in existence, is a prepared  terrain  to train the soul and to illuminate the spirit for  the numerous  jobs, works and responsibilities  in heaven. The physical world is the temporary abode of the souls , bodies and spirit to attain eternal glory in heaven. Sango is  one of the greatest spirit selected to lead the delegation of other renowned divinities in heaven to the physical realm . Remember Obatala or Orisaala Alamo rere, or Orisa-nla Alaso funfun ( that is the divinity  with white apparel ) was their leader, followed by Ifa Orunmila bara mi Agbonniregun , Ogun alakaiye osin Imole. Sango( complete name Sango  arambabi  Akaka yari yari   Ina lo ju, Ina Ni Mu, Ina lenu).  and esu lalu ogiri oko. They were more than these big five in numbers , but we need to speak and teach these five  divinities to know the source of all things according to  Vibration accorded to them by Olodumare.

Obatala was given the power to teach and show human the creative power. Honesty to live a dignify life, purity to attract the best both places of existence can offer.  Uprightness and fidelity to be able to live well in the physical state of existence. According to Obatala Oseremagbe  that is Obatala  the ancient of days.  Honesty.  Uprightness. Truthfulness   Diligence.  Straightforwardness, morality.  Purity.  Creativity   Fidelity are the spiritual characteristics of  a man  who wants  to live an  distinguished life here and here after. No man attain eternal glory according to obatala without these characteristics . Hence we must all strive to engage  and adopt  these features to be blessed from generation to generation.
Orunmila  is to teach wisdom.  Knowledge.  Understanding and perseverance to become a  sage, a  saviour  and  a saint . Without wisdom and discipline no man  attain sainthood, or sage- hood or saviour-hood . Every  man must strive for knowledge and dedicate his time to exhibit such knowledge to be blessed at every realm  and level of existence.
Ogun is the demonstration of the pure or brute forces of Olodumare in the jungle of life. Without  force or energy   we can become an easy prey to all other felines in the jungle of life. Hence force and real power is acquired through spiritual knowledge and divine capacities.
Sango according to  odu Ifa under Okanran meji
Ina lo ju

Ina ni gbogbo ara
Gba mi ooo
Sango mo ke

Translation
Fire in his eyes
Fire in his mouth
Fire all over his body
Come to my aid
Help me
Oh great Sango
I cry and  hail thee
Please help me
The above verse taking from okanaran meji shows the features of Sango   As the author of fire.  Rainfall, Thunder  ,  Lightening  and aid  all forces  of natural potentials include whirlwind  in the nature.  When we prepare to accumulate  spiritual knowledge and divine wisdom we strive to attract the force of Sango so as to prepare us to the task ahead.
Indeed.  Sango as one of the greatest divinities  that   Shows the world of men  that fire , thunder, lightening, and other  turbulence    other energies of violent characteristics  come  from heaven    These energies are not man induced forces but  heavenly demonstration of power and forces to proof the existence of unknown and bring these forces to the knowledge of men  in the physical state of e existence
According to the words
Sango laakikosun ooo
Maa  pe mo ba o loye mo pe Loruko
Sagiri lagiri
Olagiri kaka ka
Fi igba edun boo
Eefin Ina be aye
Ina nbe lodo oko mi lorun
Translation
Sango ooo, the greatest one
Do not care by calling you by your. name
The destroyer of all evil wall
The breaker of all evil manifestation
The striker that strike all  misfortune
With two hundred and  more thunder stone
The smoke of fire is what we have and  manifested in the  physical plain
The real fire is in heaven with My lord .
Indeed.  The above  chant shows the great importance of divinity called Sango , and the real force of life is unseen and heavenly acquired through spiritual knowledge  of Sango
Indeed.  After the ascension of Sango.  There are many of his incarnation. We shall discuss all in the next text or teaching
God bless you

LOVE, DEDICATION, DEVOTION AND RESPECT TOWARDS THE IRUNMOLE/ORISA

Ela ‘boru. Ela ‘boye. Ela ‘bosise.

Do you love and revere the Irunmole/Orisa? Do you? Do your honor them and rightly represent them? Do you really? If the Irunmole/Orisa had a conversation with everyone whom you know and they were to disclose everything they know about your activities, thoughts and intentions for all to see, how do you think you would fare? Would your conscience and actions uphold and vindicate you or would you have to lower your head in shame and dishonor? What do you say?
What is the basis of your personal relationship with the Irunmole/Orisa? Are you mindful of them and aware of what their aims are? Do you share affinity with the Irunmole/Orisa and their aims? Or do you only draw near to them to ask for favors and benefits with a heart lacking in consideration, appreciation and love? Do the Irunmole/Orisa exist to serve you or should you be serving them and acquainting yourself with their program, plans and activities?
Do you think that you can secure the favor of the Irunmole/Orisa and bribe them with a sacrificial offering, offering of some fruits/vegetables and/or some other trinkets? Do you think and believe that the Irunmole/Orisa are really interested in these things and desirous of them? Do you think that Irunmole/Orisa are really dependent on you for offerings of water, liquor, meats and other eatables?
Are not the Irunmole/Orisa more interested in your quality of heart and manner of living? Is it not your genuine inner love, appreciation, awe and reverence (respect) for the Irunmole/Orisa the true ‘food and nourishment’ which causes their hearts to take delight in you and which strengthens them with enthusiasm, gratitude and care?
Do you think that the Irunmole/Orisa are partial and biased like ordinary human beings? Do you not know that the good actions of others which they reward will also be shared by you if you engage in the same good and honest actions? Do you not know that the same bad and dishonest actions that they chastise, discipline and punish in others will also be equally shared by you if you are engaging in the same bad, irreverent and dishonest actions?
What is the proof that you really love and care for the Irunmole/Orisa? Other than yourself who is benefiting from your love, awe, reverence and dedication to the Irunmole/Orisa? What are you gaining from your devotion to the Irunmole/Orisa? What are the Irunmole/Orisa gaining from your devotion and service to them? Are you really serving them or are you serving yourself in their name? Are you truly honoring or praising them with your life and devotion or are you simply praising yourself and worshipping your ‘self’? Are you collaborating with the noble objectives of the Irunmole/Orisa or are you attempting to do the impossible, to use the Irunmole/Orisa for your own purposes and indulgence? What is your aim and purpose in your devotion and service to the Irunmole/Orisa? Do you in fact have genuine unselfish devotion to the Irunmole/Orisa and are you really serving them? Do people see, perceive and experience the nobility, truthfulness and sincerity of the Irunmole/Orisa in you and in your life or do they feel that you are just taking them along for a ride and attempting to pull the wool over their eyes?
Ponder these questions carefully and seriously? Self deception is the greatest tragedy. Artificial, ostentatious and fake piety is the greatest hypocrisy. Falsity is fatal to esin ibile.
Ela ‘boru. Ela ‘boye. Ela ‘bosise.
